Description
Club Turkey Bowl: Mixed Doubles
Friday, Nov 20 | Orem Club | Triple Elimination
Grab your partner and kick off Thanksgiving week with a Friday of mixed doubles. Triple elimination means one bad match doesn’t end your night. It takes three losses to knock your team out.
Early Turkey Discount: $20 off per team
Register before Nov 7 at 11:59 PM. The discount comes off the team price.
What’s included
- Triple elimination bracket. You’re not out until you lose three times.
- 47-point guarantee. Even if you somehow drop three straight, you still play a game to 21, one to 15 and one to 11.
- Reports to DUPR. Every match counts toward your rating.
- Free ball and free weekend open play.
- Start Time Refund Guarantee. Start times are published the week before. If you can’t make yours, request a refund within 48 hours of the announcement and get 100% back.
- Turkey Bowl medals. Custom leather-helmet medals for medal winners.
How it works
Everyone starts in the winner’s bracket (sideout scoring to 21, win by 2). Lose once and your team drops to the secondary bracket (one game to 15, win by 2). Lose again and your team drops to the elimination bracket (one game to 11, win by 2). The third loss ends your team’s day.
Good to know
- One registration per team. Only one player signs up and pays for both of you.
- DUPR protected. Both players’ DUPR ratings can be no more than .49 above the division you enter (3.5 division max 3.99, 4.0 max 4.49, and so on). You can play up, never down.
- Official ball. Franklin X-40 for 4.0 and under. VPro for 4.5 and above.
- Location. Club Pickleball USA Orem Club, 1330 Sandhill Rd., Orem, UT 84058.
